We tend to forget that dance is not a field of perfection but the drive to continue exploring.  Finding new and creative ways to discover the world while keeping true to ourselves. Not being fixated on what we are supposed to be or look like. Dance is more than just movement on a body, it is about the joyous feeling you get when you experience it. I thrive for individuality within myself and hope to cultivate it with others. As humans we are vastly different from one another. I dance to explore those differences. To do this, we must be honest with ourselves. We need to meet each day with no judgment, only goals. Strive to find something new. We move to release the stress of the world around us. Inspiring others to begin their journey through dance. Allowing life experiences to influence our art. We need to remind ourselves that dance is not just about how many turns you do or if you are better than the next person It is about the emotion brought through the movement. Those small reminders “this is why I dance”. We are never going to experience the same feeling twice. The goal is to find and create new ones every day. -Morgan Pfeiffer
